Do I need to be some sweet ole' runner to do this? NOWAY! The Music Run is all about music, Huntsville, and the VBC's fun filled day with friends and family.You can run, walk, crawl, or even cartwheel your way to the finish!

 

What is inlcuded w/my Registration fee? Runners will receive a custom Von Braun Music Run t-shirt, lots of entertainment along the route, and a party that begins when you finish!

 

Can I run with a jogging stroller and my kids? One Condition... if you are prepared to be one of the hippest moms/dads on the planet! All kiddos pushed with an adult are free to come along for the ride!

 

What is the Inspiration behind the Music Run? We wanted to create a fun, stress free event for everyone to participate. In celebration of the 40th Anniversary, we are honored to have each and everyone of  you be a part of the first (but not the last) run!

 

Is there an age limit for younger runners? No age limits! If they can cover (running, jogging, walking, strolling) the one mile fun run will be perfect for them!

 

Can I run with my pet? For the safety of our runners and animal friends, we do not allow animals at the race. They can however cheer you on from the sideline!

 

Is there a packet pick up? Yes. Packet Pick up will be at Fleet Feet in Jones Valley, Friday March 20th, and on the morning of the race, at the VBC in front of the Propst Arena.

 

Is this open to the public? YES! Everyone who wants to participate is encouraged to come run/walk. Bring a friend! The more the merrier! You must be registered, so click here to get started.

 

How far is a 5k? It is 3.1 miles.

 

What do I do before the run? Arrive about 30 minutes to an hour before the start. If you have not picked up your packet, please do so first thing. Make sure you are hydrated and ready to go!

 

Should I wear the Music Run t-shirt during the event? Sure! Why not?

 

What happens after I finish? You, family & friends are invited to our open house. There you will get to tour our facility, ask any questions you might have, and enjoy refreshments! Refreshments are provided for race participants as well as our Open House attendees. We will also have musical entertainment from the band, DRIVEN UNDER. The Party goes until 2 pm.

Due to insurance purposes, unregistered runners, unauthorized vehicles, bicycles, skateboards, rollerblades, and other wheeled devices, animals, and the wearing of headphones are STRICTLY PROHIBITED in the race.
